Before the period was over Adrian Doyle put the Monarchs back on top with a power play goal. The Monarch answered less than a minute in to the third when Kieran O'Driscoll scored and at 12:47 Adrian Doyle potted his second of the night to take the lead. The Falcons battled back again when Noah Lambert jumped on a open puck to net a short handed goal to once again even it up. It remained this way for the rest of the period forcing over time for the second game in a row. With 45.7 seconds remaining in OT Falcons Captain Ryan Tobin fired home the winning goal to force a final game 3. Falcons Noah Lambert had a 4 point game with 1 goal and 3 apples, Nick O'Brian got the win for the Falcons with another great game between the pipes.
